An interactive, non-televised live version of an iconic game show is coming to B.C. this fall with tour stops in Surrey, Kelowna, Victoria, Duncan and Abbotsford.

The Price is Right LIVE invites audiences members to “come on down!” to the stage for a chance to win prizes playing games such as Plinko, Cliff Hangers, spinning the Big Wheel and more.

The games, energy and prizes are similar to what you see on TV, notes a post on the tour website, where Canadian show dates are listed. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 26.

Randomly selected contestants can win appliances, dream vacations, electronics, even a new car.

Yes, everyone is given an oversized name tag to wear at The Price is Right LIVE shows. Many guests come dressed in fun, colourful outfits and themed costumes, as happened at the April 1 event at Vancouver’s Orpheum Theatre.

It’s an all-ages show, but only those of majority age can be a contestant. A random selection to determine the lucky few takes place just prior to the start of the 100-minute show, show producers say.

Presented by The Brick and promoted by Paul Mercs Concerts, the B.C. leg of the tour includes shows Sept. 29 at Kelowna Community Theatre, Sept. 30 at Royal Theatre in Victoria, Oct. 1 at Cowichan Performing Arts Centre in Duncan, Oct. 3 at Bell Performing Arts Centre in Surrey (two show times, at 3 and 8 p.m.) and Oct. 4 at Rogers Forum in Abbotsford.
