The two-day fundraiser includes music, a free family event in the Canal District and a regional motorcycle ride

The Algoma Ride for Autism is returning this Friday and Saturday to bring together families, riders, music lovers, local businesses, and community supporters for a weekend focused on connection, inclusion, and community spirit, organizers said.

As always, the Algoma Ride for Autism is 100 per cent local and 100 per cent volunteer, with funds supporting programs, events, and initiatives that help create a more inclusive and supportive community for individuals and families affected by autism, a news release said.

The weekend kicks off on Friday, June 19, with free live music from Bourbon Blue at the Esquire Club beginning at 9:00 p.m. Guests can enjoy an evening of entertainment, prizes, and also get 50/50 draw tickets while connecting with fellow supporters.

On Saturday, June 20, activities begin at the Canal District with a free Family Event from 10:00 a.m. to noon, featuring vendors (until 3 pm), games, activities, food, and fun for all ages. The event is open to the public and designed to create an inclusive environment where everyone can come together and celebrate community.

The Motorcycle Ride follows, with registration beginning at 10 a.m. and riders departing at 12 p.m.

The ride welcomes motorcyclists from across the region while helping raise awareness and support for autism inclusion initiatives throughout Algoma. Spectators are encouraged to help celebrate and are welcome to watch the ride leave, along the waterfront, east on Queen street, Garden River and Echo Bay.

The weekend concludes with a live concert at The Machine Shop, featuring:

Mellowship Slinky – Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute
The Luxury – Tragically Hip Tribute

Doors open at 7 p.m., and tickets are $25.

“AR4A is more than a motorcycle ride,” said organizers. “It is a celebration of community, inclusion, and the incredible support that exists throughout Algoma. We invite everyone to join us for a weekend of music, fun, and connection.”
