Surrey’s popular outdoor festival—Cloverdale Market Days—returns June 27

Market Days returns to downtown Cloverdale June 27.
The series of one-day festivals is set to take over 176th Street for its second of five dates in 2026.
Hosted by the Cloverdale Arts and Entertainment Association (CAEA), Cloverdale Market Days returns for one Saturday in each of May, June, July, August, and September.
Paige Hardy, president of CAEA, said their first market, back in May, was a huge success.
“So many neighbors from our Cloverdale community joined us for our first market and the feedback and comments on our social media was amazing,” Hardy told the Cloverdale Reporter. “Lots of new vendors this year that seemed to do really well.”
She said a new candle maker joined the festival this year. She added the vendor has unique candles and shoppers will be able to start picking them up in Cloverdale soon.
“A gal from our community stopped, chatted, and bought a candle for her mother-in-law and the mother-in-law loved it so much she reached out to the maker and bought a few more candles from her after the market,” Hardy explained. “Then, she got in touch with a local flower shop and showed her the candles. Needless to say the owner of the local business is now going to carry (the candlemaker’s0 items in her store.”
She said she’s heard so many similar stories from folks in the community.
Hardy also noted the upcoming market will have three entertainment tents with an assortment of musicians to listen to.
“At this upcoming market, we will have a maximum number of vendors,” she said. “We are going to expand our food truck area to allow for 14 food vendors—such an assortment of tastes to nibble on. So, hopefully our community shows up and brings their appetite.”
She said caricature artist Ted Couling will be back June 27. Couling will be offering freed drawings from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. His tent can be found centre near the food court.
“He is really good and you won’t be disappointed with his work.”
CAEA will have three different busking areas for musicians to play—one in front of Michaud’s, one in front of Mason’s, and one in front of The Henry.
“This is such a fun family-friendly day to celebrate everything Cloverdale,” Hardy added. “Bring your market bags and buy your local fruits and veggies, enjoy the local breads and goodies, fill that market bag with treats for you and your loved ones.”
She also encouraged market-goers to visit the CAEA booth during their street-side perambulations, if they needed any info.
Market Days runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on each festival day and is hosted in downtown Cloverdale on 176th Street between 56A Avenue and 58th Avenue. There are four market dates left in 2026: June 27, July 25, Aug. 22, and Sept. 12.
Cloverdale Market Days held its inaugural event in 2014. It’s one of the largest open-air markets in Surrey and the Lower Mainland.
