Get out your summer bucket list — a one-of-a-kind soccer experience is coming to Toronto Stadium during the World Cup.
For one day only on July 3, fans can play an actual match on the official pitch at Toronto Stadium.
And the upcoming Airbnb experience will be coached by Canadian soccer royalty Dwayne De Rosario and Olympic gold medallist Kadeisha Buchanan.
“This is the best opportunity in the city for fans to experience the tournament hype from the inside out,” according to the team at Airbnb.

Fans will have the opportunity to pass by the official match ball during the experience.

Running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., fans will begin the day at 170 Princes’ Blvd. by kitting up in the stadium’s locker room.
From there, it will be time to walk the players’ tunnel and pass by the official match ball to begin playing a full 11v11 match “just days after national teams compete on the exact same grass.”
The 18 and up experience is open to all genders and will conclude with a cool down featuring team stretches, snacks and photos to wrap up the “perfect day on the pitch.”
“If you think a FIFA World Cup 26 pitch is impressive from the stands, just wait until you approach it from the tunnel,” the team at Airbnb said.
“It’s a feeling we never grow tired of, and one we know you’ll never forget.”
Tickets to the showdown can be purchased online and cost $350 per guest. Yes, it sounds pricey but not compared to the cost of watching a World Cup match from the stadium.

If you’d rather be watching soccer, the FIFA Fan Festival is the place to be.
Running until July 19, both The Bentway and Fort York National Historic Site have transformed into the massive festival zone with live broadcasts, music, entertainment and food.
And if you don’t have a free ticket to the festival, be sure to keep an eye on the FIFA World Cup 26 X and Instagram accounts for a chance to secure your spot.
“A limited number of general admission FIFA Fan Festival tickets are released on the same day of use,” the FIFA World Cup 2026 Toronto Secretariat told Toronto.com.
And as noted by the City of Toronto, tickets may become available as site capacity allows. These tickets cannot be secured in advance.
The event takes place just a 20-minute walk from the Toronto Stadium, making it the ultimate pit stop before or after a match. The quickest way to get there is by taking the TTC, which services Fort York Boulevard from the Bathurst, Union and Eglinton stations. Throughout the tournament, Toronto is hosting a total of six World Cup Matches, including the first-ever men’s FIFA World Cup match on Canadian soil featuring Canada’s Men’s National Team, which took place earlier this month. Toronto will also host a Round of 32 match on July 2.
