PHOTOS: Fire at Surrey house with childcare facility

Smoke could be seen rising from a Surrey home that houses a childcare facility on Friday afternoon, June 19.
Fire crews worked in the 9800-block of 132 Street starting around 1:15 p.m.
The fire appeared to be in the basement or first floor of the two-storey house, according to freelancer on scene. A second alarm was called, bringing about 25 firefighters to the scene on many trucks.
Crews were able to quickly contain the fire with limited extension, the freelancer says.
“According to SPS on scene all occupants made it out safe and there appeared to be no injuries as there were no ambulances present at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
