A man is dead after an industrial accident in Brampton, Ont., Monday evening, police say.
Officers responded to the area of Kennedy Road S. and Clarence Street shortly before 4 p.m., Peel Regional Police Const. Tyler Bell-Morena told CBC Toronto in an email.
Police were called about someone who had fallen into a construction hole, he said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ministry of Labour will be investigating, Bell-Morena added.
CBC Toronto reached out to the ministry for comment.
Police have closed off the area.
