The Flying Taxi event lets Flying-type Pokémon soar into the spotlight in Pokémon Go! Along with giving you the chance to add Squawkabilly to your Pokédex, this event also sees the return of Team Rocket when, half way through the event, Flying Taxi: Taken Over will begin. As always, this means new Shadow Pokémon and changes to the various Team Rocket lineups.

Event End Time: Monday 29th June at 8pm (local time)

Squawkabilly debuts in Pokémon Go

Squawkabilly, from Gen 9, can now be caught in Pokémon Go! Since there’s a selection of different Squawkabilly colour variants, it’s become a regionally exclusive Pokémon in the same manner as Flabébé in Go. I’ve taken a look at how to catch Squawkabilly, along with where each colour variant spawns, if you need a hand adding it to your Pokédex.

The Flying Taxi event is currently running and its brought Squawkabilly, along with its various colours, to Pokémon Go! The Forever Forward season is here, so it’s a good idea to know the June event schedule. Go Fest 2026: Global is just around the corner!

There’s a lot to do in Pokémon Go outside of the current event! From the Go Battle League, Remote Trading, PokéStop Showcase, Routes and Max Battles. Don’t forget to catch rare Pokémon while you’re at it.

Flying Taxi wild Pokémon encounters

Here are the Pokémon spawning more frequently in the wild during the Flying Taxi event:
