Winnipeg police say a 37-year-old has been charged in connection with the death of Ronald Findlay.

Winnipeg police said officers responded to a report of an injured person in the 100 block of Henry Avenue shortly after noon on June 18.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from serious upper-body injuries. He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being transported to hospital in critical condition.

Around 11:30 a.m. on June 22, police were in the area of Main Street and Logan Avenue on an unrelated matter when they found a man who was believed to be connected to the death, and took him into custody.

Since then, 37-year-old David Bryan Siemens has been charged with manslaughter.
