The buzz around Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Now, one of the Kansas City Chiefs player’s football peers is revealing a non-negotiable rule every guest will be expected to follow.
“They said absolutely no gifts,” George Kittle revealed in an interview with Extra TV on Tuesday, June 23.
Even so, the San Francisco 49ers star, 32, said he’s not following that order himself. “I was thinking, Travis, for some reason, likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin,” Kittle said. “Sounds expensive, too.”
As for his wish for the couple, Kittle — who is married to wife Claire — simply hopes they “have so much fun with all your friends.”
In a separate interview with People that same day, Kittle also spoke about the timing of the highly anticipated wedding.

The NFL star, 36, who cofounded Tight End University alongside Kelce and Greg Olsen, said Swift’s appearance at the annual Tight Ends & Friends concert on Tuesday, June 23 — at which she performed “Love Story” with Lainey Wilson, per People — felt especially meaningful with the couple’s big day fast approaching.

“She’s just such an awesome person to give us her time this close to their wedding,” he told the outlet.
As Star previously reported, the pop star, 36, and the three-time Super Bowl champ may have once been eyeing an intimate Rhode Island wedding for this month.

While both have kept tight-lipped about the details, multiple reports, including TMZ, hinted that their pre-wedding festivities are already well underway. In Touch previously revealed the pair will exchange vows at Madison Square Garden.
Last weekend, Swift hosted her bachelorette celebrations at her $17.75 million Rhode Island mansion, while Kelce spent his last few days as a fiancé celebrating with his closest friends in Los Angeles.
