More players have been announced to join the 2026 Winnipeg Jets alumni game.

The Jets are set to host the Heritage Classic game at Princess Auto Stadium on Sunday, October 25, 2026. But before the big outdoor game gets underway, there will be plenty of other festivities, including an alumni game the day before.

Goaltender and coach among name announced

On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, the Jets announced 15 more players who will take on the Montreal Canadiens alumni.

New forward additions include Nik Antropov, Cody Eakin, Eric Fehr, Sam Gagner, Tanner Glass, Anthony Peluso, Jim Slater, Drew Stafford, and Tim Stapleton.

Defencemen added to the roster include Grant Clitsome, Tobias Enstrom, Ron Hainsey, Derek Meech, and Mark Stuart.

Goaltender Michael Hutchinson will get between the pipes, and the first-ever head coach in Jets 2.0 history, Claude Noel, has been added to the coaching staff.

Fans excited for return of favourite players

The additions bolster Winnipeg’s preliminary roster, featuring already announced Blake Wheeler, Andrew Ladd, Bryan Little, Mathieu Perreault, Paul Stastny, and Dustin Byfuglien

While the roster is subject to change, fans took to the comment section to share in their excitement. 

“Toby Enstrom is the name that stood out to me. This is fantastic!” one person said
