The Auxiliary to Campbellford Memorial Hospital announces that the annual Par for Progress Golf Tournament, held on May 30 at Warkworth Golf Club, raised $37,500 in support of quality patient care at Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
The tournament brought together golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and community supporters for a day of friendly competition, camaraderie, and philanthropy. The funds raised will help the hospital continue to provide exceptional care and enhance services for patients and families throughout the region.
Amy Taylor, convenor of the golf tournament, said, “This event is especially close to my heart. My family has experienced firsthand the importance of having access to medical equipment that supports early detection and ongoing treatment close to home. It’s inspiring to see our community rally together to support something that touches so many lives. On behalf of the organizing team, thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year’s event such a meaningful success.
“We are incredibly grateful for the tremendous support received from our community,” said auxiliary president Liz Mathewson. “The success of this event demonstrates the commitment of local businesses, residents, and hospital supporters to ensure high-quality healthcare remains available close to home.”
The auxiliary recognizes the many generous sponsors whose support contributed significantly to the success of the tournament.
Most importantly, heartfelt thanks are extended to all the golfers who participated.
