A’ja Wilson added another historic performance to her Hall of Fame résumé Sunday.
The Las Vegas Aces star became the first player in WNBA history to record at least 30 points, 15 rebounds, four steals and three blocks in a single game, leading the Aces to a 107-99 victory over the Chicago Sky.
Wilson finished with 30 points, 15 rebounds, four steals and three blocks while shooting 8-of-14 from the field and 13-of-16 from the free-throw line. The reigning MVP also recorded her 99th career game with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds, trailing only Tina Charles on the WNBA’s all-time list.
Las Vegas improved to 14-5 on the season and 8-2 on the road behind another balanced offensive effort. Jackie Young added 28 points and eight assists, knocking down four 3-pointers, while Chelsea Gray contributed 18 points, six rebounds and eight assists. Chennedy Carter chipped in 11 points off the bench.
The Aces and Sky were tied 31-31 after the opening quarter before Las Vegas pulled away behind Wilson’s dominant all-around performance.
The Aces return home looking to build on the momentum from one of the most memorable individual performances in franchise history.
