With reports of Caleb Williams struggling in training camp, here are your views on the Chicago Bears as the start of the NFL season rapidly approaches:

Greb B.: Very concerning that QB1 is looking WORSE than last year in camp.

Enrico P.: I’d wonder if Caleb is getting nervous or feeling the pressure but our guy doesn’t get nervous or feel pressure. Just ask him. Well and good but if he can’t get rid of the ball on time and hit his targets, the fact that he’s a highly touted No. 1 pick who can throw from wacky arm angles is going to become irrelevant. This is the NFL—you have to be able to run and execute a play or offense as designed.

John C.: Yikes. I am a big believer in both Caleb and Ben but this camp is starting to sound like so many others over the past 20 years- broken passing game, question marks at LT, pre-snap penalties, etc.

John S.: As long as the line can do their job, Caleb will grow and improve throughout the season. I don’t mind if he gets off to a slow start as long as he avoids hits. Williams couldn’t really learn to go through his progressions properly last year, since he spent most of the season running for his life. It may take time to shed the bad habits learned during a bad season.

Johnstarman: Growth can frequently look like one step back to take two steps forward. I’m still hoping it’s that.

Patrick H.: I am not worried about Caleb at all. Keep throwing the kitchen sink at him Ben. This is good.
