TORONTO (WIBW) – Former Emporia State standout Tyler Kahmann is making the most of his opportunity with the Toronto Argonauts, emerging as one of the CFL club’s top young playmakers.
The former Hornet has caught 15 passes for 237 yards and four touchdowns in three games this season after taking an unconventional path to the CFL. Kahmann signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent following his standout career at Emporia State but was released before the start of the 2024 NFL season.
Kahmann landed with Toronto and has quickly become a reliable target in the Argonauts’ offense.
On Friday, against the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Kahmann caught five passes for 89 yards and a pair of scores.
The Agronauts play Thursday versus the Calgary Stampeders.
