A person found dead in the city’s downtown area Tuesday morning is under investigation, Calgary police say.
The police homicide unit was called to an “undetermined death” on 9 Street and 5 Avenue SW just before 5:30 a.m.
One person was found dead, though details on the cause are unknown.
Police say an investigation is ongoing.
No further information has been shared because “no other details are available at this time.”
