Registration still open for PGA qualifier in Harrison Mills

Registration ends soon for the local qualifier of the PGA Scramble event in Harrison Mills.
The qualifier takes place Monday, July 13, at Sandpiper Resort (14282 Morris Valley Rd.) Teams of four golfers over the age of 19 can still register until Friday, July, 3; there is a cutoff of 30 teams.
The PGA Scramble, presented by BMW, is the largest grassroots amateur golf program in Canada, set at 185 locations nationwide.
The winners of local qualifiers are invited to participate in one of 13 regional finals later this summer. Regional final winners will be given a shot at the national championship at the prestigious Cabot Links Golf Course in Nova Scotia in the fall.
Now in its 11th year, the program steadily grows each year, last year topping at 12,000 participants.
