A two-month child luring investigation by Barrie Police has resulted in a 34-year-old Mississauga man being charged.
The Barrie Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) received a report from Uniform Patrol concerning a child under 18 being lured and exploited online via social media platforms Instagram and Snapchat.

The ICE unit executed a search warrant on Thursday at a Mississauga residence. Police say several electronic devices belonging to the accused were seized for full forensic analysis.
The suspect has been charged with luring a child under 18 and making sexually explicit material available to a child.
