This weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series is heading to Chicagoland Speedway. It marks the resurrection of the 1.5-mile track as the last race was hosted at the track in 2019.

Josh Bilicki was on the entry list at the driver of the No. 66 car. On Thursday, Garage 66 withdrew their entry in the event.

The team has run 8 races so far in the 2026 season. Their last event was at Nashville Superspeedway in May.

Here is the full team statement:

“Unfortunately Carl had to make the call to withdraw Garage 66 from this weekend’s race at Chicagoland due to lack of sponsorship.”

“We are sad to miss out on NASCAR’s July 4th weekend, but we look forward to the No. 66 returning very soon!”
