Louis Foster will make his NASCAR Truck Series debut

Pilot ofIndyCar Louis Foster will make his debut for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing. NASCAR Truck Series at the next round of the championship, in Lime Rock.

The 22-year-old Briton, who took pole position at Road America last year, will make a brief foray into the world of NASCAR, between the IndyCar races at Mid-Ohio this weekend and Nashville on July 19.

Foster will drive the No. 76 Chevrolet Silverado pickup for Freedom Racing Enterprises. The partnership between the driver and the team is facilitated by their shared sponsorship. While Foster isn’t expected to leave IndyCar anytime soon, the Briton joins several other drivers who are helping the NASCAR pickup series attract a diverse range of drivers, such as Colin Braun, an expert in…Endurance at Meyer Shank Racing, and will be competing in its second race of the season.

Former NASCAR Cup Series champions, such as Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart, have also participated in races this season, as has three-time Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti, who was present in St. Petersburg earlier this year.
