Autodrome Montmagny will host the NASCAR Canada Series on Saturday in a doubleheader event in the province of Quebec. It marks the second doubleheader of the 2026 season for the series north of the border. Twenty-two teams have entered for the July 4 event.
Kevin Lacroix enters the weekend fresh off a victory at Riverside on June 27, where he dominated 219 of the 300 laps to secure his first win in Canada since last season at Sutherland Automotive Speedway. In 2024, Lacroix, from Saint-Eustache, Quebec, recorded six victories.
Marc-Antoine Camirand leads the drivers’ points standings heading into the fifth and sixth races of the season. LP Dumoulin sits 24 points behind in second, followed by Alex Guenette in third, 33 points back. Camirand already has two victories in 2026.
QUALIFYING FORMAT:
Two consecutive qualifying laps.
STARTING LINEUP PROCEDURES:
Starting Positions 1st through 15th will be determined from qualifying.
Provisional Starting Positions 16th through 19th have been established for up to four additional starting positions which will be available to the highest ranking car owners in the current 2026 NASCAR Canada Series Championship car owner point standings
Provisional Starting Position 20th has been established for up to one additional starting position which will be available to any past NASCAR Canada Series Champion driver who participated as a driver in the 2025 NASCAR Canada Series and who did not qualify for one of the original 19 starting positions
Qualifying for Race 2 will be the team’s fastest lap in Race 1. Starting field for the XPN Delta Electrolytes 150 is limited to 24 starters including Provisional Positions.
RACE PROCEDURE:
The XPN Burn-X 125 / XPN Delta Electrolytes 150 will be run straight up with no scheduled pit stops.
TIRE ALLOTMENT:
The maximum tire allotment available for this event is as follows: One (1) tire for practice, four (4) tires for qualifying and to begin the race with. A team representative must designate four (4) ‘Qualifying/Race Tires’ to NASCAR Officials at the designated time. During the race, up to four (4) additional tires may be designated by a team representative to the NASCAR Official assigned to their pit stall as an ‘Emergency Change Tire’.
