A partnership between KPI Industrial Controls and the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario brought in close to $27,000 this year, adding to more than $150,000 raised through the tournament over seven years
The YMCA of Northeastern Ontario is celebrating another successful year following the seventh Annual KPI Charity Golf Tournament, which raised close to $27,000 in support of YMCA programs and services on June 18.
The tournament, a partnership with KPI Industrial Controls, brought together community members, sponsors, and volunteers for a day of connection and generosity.
“Despite rainy weather, the event was filled with energy and strong community spirit, reflecting the shared commitment to making a difference locally,” states a release from the YMCA.
The release states that over the years, the KPI Charity Golf Tournament has contributed more than $150,000 to the YMCA, helping to create opportunities for individuals and families across Northeastern Ontario.
“The ongoing support from KPI and their partners continues to make a lasting impact in our communities,” said Lorrie Turnbull, CEO at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario in the release. “This partnership is a great example of how businesses and community organizations can come together to create opportunities for children, youth, and families to thrive.”
Funds raised through the tournament will support the YMCA’s programs and services, helping to ensure that everyone has access to opportunities that build healthy communities, regardless of their background or financial situation.
“I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together over the past several years,” said Dustin Mailloux, President, KPI Industrial Controls Inc. “This tournament wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of the entire KPI team, the amazing staff and volunteers at the Y, our sponsors, golfers, prize donors, and everyone who contributes their time and support.”
