Bryson DeChambeau should be massively encouraged by what’s happening in golf this week while he’s away from the cameras 

Bryson DeChambeau has some big decisions to make at the end of this year.

The two-time US Open winner will see his current LIV Golf contract expire after this season, and his future is far from certain. 

LIV Golf has lost its Saudi funding, raising major questions about whether the tour will even exist in 2027 and beyond. DeChambeau was seen speaking to PGA Tour officials about his future at The Masters, and he’s floated the possibility that he’ll do content creation full-time and only play the majors next year.

DeChambeau is currently on a practice run for that idea. He will not play competitive golf in between the US Open and The Open Championship because of the cancellation of LIV Louisiana, so right now he’s out of the spotlight. 

But what has happened in the world of golf with DeChambeau not playing is great news for his future.
