What do you wear to the biggest wedding in the world, especially if you’re kind of a normal person? Looks like two of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s guests arrived at the same answer. On Friday afternoon, both Abigail Anderson Berard — yes, the Abigail — and Laura Kruk, fiancée of Giants receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, were photographed heading to Madison Square Garden in the same strapless corset-and-skirt gown. With a reported 1,000-person invite list, doubling up was bound to happen, but it still can’t feel great.
The dress itself is available on Revolve for $795 from the Hong Kong–based label Sau Lee, which seems to specialize in feminine party dresses. This features a boned, embroidered bodice and a dramatic chocolate-brown floor-length skirt. Anthropologie sells it too.
If anyone had an opportunity to run their dress by the bride, it’s Anderson — Swift’s best friend since they attended Hendersonville High School together. On Thursday night at the rehearsal dinner, Anderson turned up in another memorable dress: a drapey yellow Reformation style with a sheer asymmetric cape. This may be Swift’s wedding, but we have a feeling Anderson Berard is having a pretty great weekend, too. Twinning be damned.
