The latest attention surrounding Recco stems from what she described as an unusual invitation to spend an evening aboard a 130-foot yacht with a group of NFL players in Miami.
In a TikTok “morning debrief,” Recco explained that she and several friends accepted the invitation expecting a fun night out. Instead, she claimed the atmosphere felt uncomfortable almost immediately.
According to Recco, the players were “really weird” from the moment everyone boarded the yacht, adding that they did not appear particularly welcoming toward the women who had been invited.
Although she chose not to identify any of the athletes involved, Recco said she and her friends eventually received another invitation to continue the evening at Booby Trap, a well-known Miami nightclub.
After leaving the yacht to change clothes, the women arrived at the venue only to find what Recco described as an awkward situation.
She claimed the players largely ignored them after they arrived, despite extending the invitation earlier in the evening.
According to Recco, one of the group told them there was no room available at their table, even though she believed there were plenty of empty seats.
Feeling embarrassed, Recco said she and her friend left the venue and briefly hid in the parking lot before deciding what to do next.
Fortunately for the pair, the evening eventually improved.
According to Recco, they later reunited with another friend who remained aboard the yacht, and the atmosphere was much more relaxed during the remainder of the night.
She explained that they stayed on the boat until approximately 2:30 a.m. before remaining out until nearly sunrise.
The experience generated widespread discussion online, with many viewers debating whether Recco’s account reflected broader issues involving celebrity culture, exclusive nightlife and social dynamics surrounding professional athletes.
Her story also resurfaced conversations sparked earlier this year by another viral TikTok creator, Isabella, who shared her own account of being invited onto a professional athlete’s yacht in Miami.
Isabella alleged that women attending those gatherings were evaluated based on their appearance before some were asked to leave, drawing criticism across social media.
While Recco stressed that her experience unfolded differently, many users noted similarities between the two stories, particularly regarding the exclusivity and awkward social interactions that reportedly occurred.
Because Recco deliberately avoided naming the NFL players involved, none of the athletes have publicly responded to her claims, and there is no independent confirmation of the events she described.
