Dallas Wings (+160) at New York Liberty (-192) | O/U 174.5 (-115/-105)
The Wings (13-8) meet the Liberty (14-8) at Barclays Center at 8:00 p.m. ET. Dallas has posted a 7-5 record on the road, while New York is 8-4 at home. This is easily the better matchup of the evening.
Dallas has won consecutive games, while going 4-2 in the past six outings, including 3-1 in the previous four road games. It covered as 6.5-point favorites in Toronto last time out, halting an 0-6 against the spread (ATS) skid. The Under has cashed in the past two games, following up a 5-0 Over run.
For New York, it posted a 99-86 win against Minnesota as a 2.5-point underdog whike the Over (174.5) cashed, following up an impressive 93-85 win over the Las Vegas Aces in the Commissioner’s Cup Final on June 30, The Liberty have covered back-to-back games, and they’re looking for their first run of 3-0 ATS or better since cashing in four in a row from May 27-June 6. The Over is 3-1 in the past four games, while going 8-3 in the previous 11 contests.
These teams last met on May 24, when the Wings posted a 91-76 victory as a 6.5-point underdog in Brooklyn, while the Under (179.5) cashed. Jessica Shepard went for 10 points and 11 rebounds in the win, while Paige Bueckers had 24 points, as did rookie Azzi Fudd. Breanna Stewart had 14 points and 11 rebounds in a losing effort, while Satou Sabally added 20 points.
Dallas has covered four in a row in this series, while the Under has connected in three in a row since Aug. 5, 2025. Let’s back the Wings to get the job done while going low on the total.
Picks: Wings +4.5 (-105) & Under 174.5 Points (-105)
Chicago Sky (+140) at Phoenix Mercury (-166) | O/U 175.5 (-108/-112)
The Sky (6-14) travel to meet the Mercury (8-13) at Mortgage Matchup Arena in the Valley of the Sun. Phoenix has dominated this series, winning eight consecutive matchups since Aug. 15, 2024, while going 3-1 ATS in the past four meetings and 6-2 ATS in the eight-game win streak. The Over is 4-2 in the past six games in the series, too. Phoenix has won five in a row at home against Chicago, going 3-2 ATS, while the Under is 3-2 in those meetings.
Chicago put up quite the fight in Las Vegas in the second end of a home-and-home with the Aces, falling 98-90 in overtime as a 4.5-point underdog as the Over (179.5) cashed. It was impressive, even if A’ja Wilson did not play due to a leg injury. The Sky are still just 2-8 SU in the past 10 games since June 7, and 3-13 in the past 16 outings. Even so, Chicago is 7-2 ATS in the past nine games, while the Over has cashed in four in a row, and seven of the past eight contests.
The Sky have scored 90 or more points in four in a row, and seven of the past eight games, while conceding at least 94 points in three in a row, and 92+ points in seven of the past eight games. As such, this should be a slam-dunk play.
When these teams met May 15 in Phoenix, the Mercury racked up a 91-83 win as 4.5-point favorites while the Over (166.5) cashed. Let’s back the Mercury laying the points, as they’ve just dominated this series. Until the Sky turn things around in this series, go with Phoenix.
