In an effort to keep up with the number of abandoned vehicles in the city, Edmonton parking enforcement have freed up 150 additional spaces at the police impound lot. The main lot has been in use since 1997, but Cindy Kieu with the Edmonton Police Service says as the city grows, there has been more need for safe storage of towed vehicles.
