A flagship Sports Direct and Everlast Gyms+ is opening on Dublin ’s Henry Street this month.

The highly anticipated sports store and gym will open its doors on Saturday 25 July 2026. This marks Everlast Gyms ’ Ireland debut, and the gym will take up 25,000 sq. ft of the building, on the third floor.

The gym will include a reformer pilates studio – an exercise method which has grown massively in popularity in recent years. The boutique studio will house 16 Allegro 2 reformer beds, delivering low-impact training in a dedicated environment.

Ice baths and a sauna will be available for recovery, with three Brass Monkey ice baths and a herbal sauna, designed to support post-training recovery and long-term performance.

Everlast Gyms+ Dublin will serve as Ireland’s first official HYROX Performance Centre (HPC). The HPC will be fully equipped with Centre-supplied race-day kit, specialist performance turf, and tailored programming to simulate race-day conditions and effectively train competing athletes.

Gym members will have access to the high performance ‘Nike Grind’ equipment made using upcycled shoe manufacturing materials, as well as signature class training concepts, HUSTLE and Everlast Lifting Club.

The three-story destination will feature a 60,000 sq. ft of state-of-the-art Sports Direct retail experiences on the first two floors, making the space 85,000sq.ft in total. The lot, which was formerly Roches Stores until it became a Debenhams in 2006, is one of the street’s largest retail locations.

For fuelling up, there is a Myprotein Kitchen café, lounge and co-working space, offering freshly blended smoothies and a curated selection of expert-led nutrition to support members at every stage of their training cycle.

Dan Summerson, Managing Director at Everlast Gyms, said: “This is a huge moment for Everlast Gyms as we prepare to open our first site outside of the UK and bring our elevated concept to Dublin. Following the successful launch of an integrated Sports Direct and Everlast Gyms in the UK last year, we can’t wait to bring this holistic offering to Ireland, providing greater access to the world’s leading brands and a best-in-class fitness experience.”
