MONTREAL — Air Canada says a flight arriving from Los Angeles left the runway at Montreal’s airport on Thursday afternoon.

The airline says no injuries were reported.

It says Flight AC774 from Los Angeles, operated by a Boeing 737 Max, exited the taxiway at about 4 p.m.

Montréal-Trudeau International Airport says its north runway was closed to ensure the safe evacuation of passengers.

It warned of possible delays because of the incident, with passengers encouraged to check their flight schedules before travelling to the airport.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada says it has sent a team of investigators.
