The Dallas Wings (14-8) are playing some of their best team basketball of the season as a part of this four-game road trip. Dallas won the first three games of the trip and looks to make it an undefeated trip north of the border against the Toronto Tempo (9-12). The teams played five days ago as part of this trip. Paige Bueckers led Dallas to an 89-76 win with 22 points and seven assists. Fellow All-Star Jessica Shepard added 14 points and 15 rebounds in the win. Shepard is having a breakout season, leading the league with three triple-doubles. One of those came in Dallas’ last win, finishing with 22 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists in an 11-point win over the New York Liberty.

Shepard is having a career-best season with personal highs in points (14.6), rebounds (11.5), assists (5.3), steals (0.7), and minutes per game (32.5). She is second in the WNBA in rebounding and double-doubles. 

Bueckers and Shepard will start in the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game in two weeks. This is Bueckers’ second All-Star nod, first start, and Shepard’s first overall.

Toronto was led by Marina Mabrey with 19 points in the first game against Dallas. Mabrey is making history left and right this season with WNBA-tying records of 53 points in a game and nine made three-pointers.
