A full Friday lineup of rodeo, agriculture, family programming, live music and evening entertainment is scheduled at the Calgary Stampede on July 10.

The day includes the Stampede Rodeo, the Evening Show, the Heavy Horse Pull, Canadian National Miniature Horse Show, culinary programming, kids’ entertainment and late-night concerts at Nashville North, the Coca-Cola Stage and The Big Four Roadhouse.

All-day and ongoing attractions

Several attractions are scheduled throughout the day, including Canadian Armed Forces Displays at the Kids’ Midway, interpretive programming at Elbow River Camp Presented By Enbridge and live sand sculpting at Western Oasis in the BMO Centre.

The Market, Born To Buck presented by Holt Renfrew, Cattle Trail, Horse Haven, Nutrien Ag-tivity in the City, Draft Horse Town, blacksmiths and farm equipment displays are also part of Friday’s lineup.

Agriculture programming continues with Country Critters, the Milky Way Dairy Display and demonstrations in the Agriculture Barns, as well as sheep and pork showcases in the Nutrien Western Event Centre.

Morning and midday highlights

Draft Horse Demo, Horse Haven Equine Showcases and the Canadian National Miniature Horse Show are scheduled in the Agriculture Zone Presented by Brandt.

Paw Patrol: Dino Rescue! and a Paw Patrol Meet & Greet are scheduled in the BMO Kids’ Zone.

Flag Raising, Camp Riders, Horse Culture, Tipi Viewing, Traditional Games and interpretive tours are scheduled at Elbow River Camp Presented By Enbridge throughout the day.

Family programming continues with Bubble Playshop, Little Rodeo Pro, Team T&J Present Kids’ Dino Stompin’ Jamboree, Gabby’s Dollhouse Dance Party and Gabby’s Dollhouse Meet & Greet.

Freestyle Motocross is scheduled at the Monster Energy Compound, while Full Throttle is scheduled at the Dog Bowl Arena in Community Park South.

Afternoon events

The Stampede Rodeo begins at 1:30 p.m. at GMC Stadium.

The Junior Steer Classic and Oh Ranch Branded Beef Steer Show are scheduled in the Nutrien Western Event Centre.

Taste of Stampede Culinary Cup quarterfinals are scheduled in the BMO Centre, with additional cooking and community showcase programming also planned during the day.

Hand Games Competition is scheduled for 3 p.m. at Elbow River Camp Presented By Enbridge.

Live music and entertainment

Coca-Cola Stage programming includes Hip Hip Thursday, K-Riz & The Family, Dylan Sinclair and Fridayy.

Nashville North features Julia Vos, Tristan Horncastle, Alli Walker, James Barker Band and Drew Gregory.

At The Big Four Roadhouse, Jory Kinjo is scheduled throughout the afternoon and early evening, followed by William Prince at 9 p.m. and Jade Elephant at 11 p.m.

Acoustic Act: Katelyn Lehner is scheduled in the Stampede Cellar Champion Wine Experience during the afternoon, followed by Dueling Piano Kings at 5:30 p.m., 7:15 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Evening schedule

The Heavy Horse Pull Pre-Show begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Nutrien Western Event Centre, followed by the Heavy Horse Pull at 7 p.m.

The Evening Show begins at 7:15 p.m. at GMC Stadium.

The Grand Staircase Show featuring the Stampede Showband is scheduled for 6 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.

Stampede Stand-Up! is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. at the Stage of Wonders in the BMO Centre.

Flag Lowering is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Elbow River Camp Presented By Enbridge.
