1977.- Legendary Puerto Rican knockout artist Wilfredo “El Radar” Gómez thrilled his home crowd at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico, retaining his WBC super bantamweight world title with a ruthless 5th-round knockout over courageous Mexican challenger Raúl Tirado.
