Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson will be featured in a new ESPN docuseries debuting later this month, offering a behind-the-scenes look at one of the WNBA’s biggest names during a dominant stretch of her career.

“Life in the W,” a six-part series, premieres July 24 on ESPN platforms to coincide with the league’s All-Star weekend. The show follows Wilson along with Minnesota’s Napheesa Collier and Phoenix’s DeWanna Bonner through the 2026 season, focusing on their lives on and off the court.

“A lot of people see what we do on the court, but this is a chance to show everything that comes with it: the work, the sacrifice, the joy and the sisterhood,” Wilson said. “I’m so proud to be part of this project and allow viewers to connect with who we are beyond basketball.”

Collier and Bonner also emphasized the off-court stories the series highlights.

“The growth of women’s basketball has been incredible to see, and it’s important that fans get to know the people helping drive that momentum,” Collier said. “This series gives viewers a chance to connect with our stories in a real way, and I hope it inspires the next generation of players and fans.”

“Basketball has been such a big part of my life, but it’s only one part of who I am,” Bonner said. “This series shows the moments that matter most to me off the court too, especially the time I spend with my family. I’m grateful to share that side of my journey and give fans a look at what keeps me grounded throughout a long season.”

Lindsay Rovegno, ESPN’s vice president and executive producer for ESPN Originals, said the network wanted to showcase “three of the game’s best” with “uniquely compelling journeys.”

Wilson, the WNBA’s only four-time MVP, is in the middle of another standout year for the Aces. She leads the league in scoring at 25.6 points per game, is tied for first in blocks at 2.0 and ranks among the top rebounders at 9.0 per game.

Now in her ninth season with Las Vegas, Wilson helped lead the franchise to three titles in the past four years, including a 2025 championship run in which she became the first player in league history to win MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Finals MVP and the scoring title in the same season.

The 6-foot-4 center, drafted No. 1 overall in 2018 out of South Carolina, has spent her entire career with the Aces and was re-signed to a supermax deal earlier this year.

The series arrives as the Aces, perennial contenders in the Western Conference, continue their push for another title. Wilson, an All-Star for the eighth time, earned Western Conference Player of the Month honors in both May and June.

All six episodes will be available July 24 on the ESPN App for ESPN Select plan subscribers. Episodes 1 and 2 will air at 7 p.m. July 24 on ESPN2 , followed by Episodes 1-4 at 2 p.m. July 25, and all six episodes at 2 p.m. July 26.
