After attending the Wimbledon women’s finals yesterday to watch Linda Nosková capture her first Grand Slam title, Kate Middleton is back at the All England Lawn Tennis Club for the men’s finals between defending champion Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev.
This time, she was joined by her husband Prince William and their eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Prince Louis, 8, is likely too young to attend, though Prince George went to the tournament the first time when he was 8 (about to turn 9) in summer 2022. For the second day in a row of tennis, Kate chose a chic green dress, accessorizing with her Van Cleef & Arpels Magic Alhambra drop earrings.

Ahead of going to their seats in the Royal Box, the Wales family met with players and All England Lawn Tennis Club employees.

Kate became royal patron of the All England Club in 2016, and in the years since, she has become a regular at the tournament, and since 2019, she has presented the trophies to the men’s champion and runner-up, taking over the ceremonial role from the Duke of Kent. She hasn’t missed a year—with the exception of 2020, when Wimbledon was canceled for the pandemic. Even in 2024, amid her ongoing cancer treatment, one of her only appearances of the year was at the men’s finals.
Today marks her third and final appearance at Wimbledon this year; in addition to the women’s finals yesterday, Princess of Wales made a surprise appearance on day four of the tournament, where she watched tennis on the side courts, wearing a hidden microphone to take part in the tournament’s “Overheard at Wimbledon” social media series.
