Top WNBA Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Courtney Williams O 1.5 Made Three-Pointers (+135)
Williams is shooting 41% on three-pointers this season and she has netted multiple treys in three of her last four. Now, Williams faces the Mercury tonight, who are the ultimate matchup for outside shooters.
This season, Phoenix ranks 12th in defensive rating and the club is allowing the most made three-pointers per game (10.2) on the highest percentage in the league (37.4%). Williams went 3-for-3 from deep when she last faced the Mercury on June 1st and she is a very attractive bet for 1.5 made three-pointers at this +135 price.
Valeriane Ayayi U 10.5 Points (-113)
After some strong performances, Ayayi has significantly cooled off. Following three straight outings of 18+ points, she has scored just nine, 10 and five points in her last three. Ayayi was moved into the Mercury’s starting lineup four games ago and playing with the first unit has hurt her usage. She is handling a 17% usage rate with the starting job, which is a notable drop from the 21.1% usage rate she saw in her first 14 games of the season.
Facing the Lynx on the road tonight, who lead the WNBA in defensive rating this season, Ayayi is in the worst possible spot to regain her form and she shouldn’t do much scoring. Albeit when she was logging fewer minutes as a bench player, Ayayi has been held to six and zero points in her two matchups vs. Minnesota this season.
Dearica Hamby O 15.5 Points (-130)
Hamby has been excellent with Kelsey Plum (leg) and Cameron Brink (ankle) sidelined. With these two players out for the last five, Hamby is averaging 18.2 points in 29.4 minutes per game while shooting 53.1% from the field. The veteran has exceeded 15.5 points in all but one of these contests and she is garnering a 24.2% usage rate during this stretch.
Up next, Hamby is on the road tonight facing the Dream. Being on the road is a concern, as she is scoring 1.7 PPG less on the road than when at home this season, but this is an under the radar matchup, as Atlanta ranks ninth in defensive rating over it’s last five games and Angel Reese (leg) is questionable. The Dream’s defensive rating is 7.0 points per 100 possessions worse with Reese off the court than with her on this season. Nevertheless, Atlanta as a whole has been struggling, dropping six of it’s last seven, and Hamby should clear 15.5 points regardless of Reese’s status.
