The 100 Men Of Scugog met on July 16 for the 3rd meeting of the year. With at least 3 new members also in attendance the evening featured a first in the 10-year history of the group’s existence.

Following presentations by the three charities (Town Hall 1873, Dog Guides of Durham and Durham Alzheimer Society) a two-way tie was declared to share in the funds raised that night.

Dog Guides and Alzheimers shared the $5,300.00 raised by the group with more to come.

Tyler Renaud and Nick Semeniuk presided over the event and were more than pleased with the mid-summer turn out.

This group needs more members, said a statement. The challenge has been put out to increase membership to challenge the Kawartha group’s numbers. If you want to make a difference in the community come on out and join in the fun. Check out the web site at https://100men.ca/
