We look at Victoria Gators football team ahead of 2025 season


VICTORIA, Texas- With the football season only 11 days away, we are almost finished with our CFL preview coverage.

Tonight, we take a look at the home team, the Victoria Gators, who finished last season 3-7 overall and 1-3 in district play. The Gators got big production from running back Bladen Thompkins, who averaged 69.8 rushing yards per game last year.

Also keep an eye on wide receivers Caden Grafmyer and Eli Grafmyer, who are expected to play a major role in the passing game this season.

Another player to watch is Devin Aguilar, a recent Tap or Scrap competitor, who looks to make an impact for the Gators as well.

The Gators open the season on August 28 at home against Texas Christian.
