It was just a few months ago that Gringo shuttered all three of its locations.
Looks like white trash tacos are back on the menu.
While it was only a few months ago that the folks at Gringo told customers to “cue the taco tears” — announcing they were closing all three of their locations — it appears at least one of their former locations is back in action.
On Thursday (July 16), Gringos took to Instagram with the surprise that the owners have now reopened their original Vancouver location, at 27 Blood Alley Square.
“To our wonderful community: Welcome back to Gringo Gastown,” reads the post. “Our doors are officially opening today at 5 p.m.”
“Come and say hi to your favorite people, but most importantly to the new family member!!” The welcome-back photo appears to show Gringo staff with a baby (who I’m guessing is not yet staff).
We’ve reached out to Gringo for more info on the reopening.
