Formula 1 2026 makes its way to Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for the Belgian Grand Prix as drivers and constructors are ready for the last championship battles before the summer break.
Mercedes have proven to be one of the fastest cars in the early stages of the season, with Kimi Antonelli holding the lead in the Drivers’ Championship ahead of his teammate George Russell.
Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc still have their chances as they are close to each other after Ferrari’s comeback. Finally, McLaren are still chasing their opponents on both fronts.
Antonelli goes to Spa 25 points ahead of teammate Russell after nine rounds, while Mercedes lead Ferrari and McLaren teams in the Constructors’ Championship.
In last year’s Belgian GP, McLaren delivered a master class where Oscar Piastri came in first, beating teammate Lando Norris. Leclerc was third for Ferrari while Max Verstappen came in fourth for Red Bull Racing.
