A shock double dumping has occurred on Love Island, as we get closer and closer to the final episode.
After the Love Island Fest came to an end, Maya gathered the Islanders around the fire pit revealing the public had been voting for their favourite girl and boy.
Two Islanders with the fewest votes were revealed and learnt that their Love Island journeys had come to an end, as one reflected: “It’s okay… I’m ready. I’ve had the best time ever.”
But just as the Islanders thought the night was over, Maya revealed that another boy and girl would be leaving the villa – but the decision was down to the Islanders.

After Finley was dumped from the villa, Ellie made the decision to leave alongside him.
Reflecting on how it felt to leave Love Island, Ellie said: “Surreal and bittersweet. There are so many emotions going through me.I came for one thing, I wanted to find someone and I found it. There was no point in me staying until the end just to be a placeholder.
“It didn’t sit right with me. Nothing in my gut told me I needed to stay. I knew full well in my gut, my heart and my head that leaving was the only and the best option for me, so that’s what I did.”
Finley – DUMPED in episode 46

After much deliberation, the Islanders voted for Finley to be dumped from the villa.
He said: “Yeah, it’s obviously bittersweet because I’ve ended Ellie’s journey early because of my actions. Obviously now it’s just the start of the journey with Ellie on the outside.”
Jordon – DUMPED in episode 46

Following the public vote for favourite boy, Jordon was immediately dumped from the villa after receiving the fewest votes.
Speaking of his exit, Jordon said: “To be honest, it feels good. The timing was right. In the villa, I explored every option I thought was possible and every girl I was attracted to and it didn’t end up working out in the end. However I feel like leaving now has come at the right time, I’m happy to have no regrets.”
Martha – DUMPED in episode 46

Following the public vote, two more Islanders had to be dumped and it was down to the rest of the couples to decide.
After much deliberation, the Islanders decided to dump Finley and Martha.
She said: “It feels surreal to be leaving Love Island. I can’t believe I was in there. I’ve had the best time. I feel like I experienced the journey properly and I think it was the right time for me to leave. There are a lot of strong connections and couples in there that deserve to stay.
“Obviously Jordon was dumped and we were in a friendship couple anyway, so there wasn’t really any point in me staying. I think I’ve made best friends for life and had the best experience ever , I have no regrets. It’s just the weirdest rollercoaster experience ever, but I’ve loved every second of it. I would do it again, hands down.”
Elicia – DUMPED in episode 46

Following the public vote for favourite girl, Elicia was immediately dumped from the villa after receiving the fewest votes.
She said: “I didn’t find love but hopefully my man will be waiting for me out there and he’s watching the TV thinking I’m going to get with her when she comes out.”
Sean – DUMPED in episode 42

Sean and Lola both decided they would leave the villa after finding one another, meaning Lorenzo and Julia didn’t have to choose between the other couples to dump.
Lola – DUMPED in episode 42

Upon the reveal that Lorenzo and Julia’s had to decide who to dump from the villa, Lola and Sean told the group they didn’t have to choose between the couples and they were happy to leave as they had found what they wanted.
Mara – DUMPED in episode 37

Mara was left packing after Simba chose to recouple with Angelista instead of continuing his romance with Mara.
“It’s a bittersweet moment because I didn’t want to leave the Villa,” she said about her departure from the villa.
She continued: “I’d made some amazing friendships and got on with everybody. I’m happy for Simba that he’s figuring himself out and going through a bit of a self development journey, but equally I’m sad for myself because I didn’t find love. I feel like he didn’t really give me a chance.”
Charleen – DUMPED in episode 37
Charleen. ITV
Charleen was also dumped from the villa after none of the boys chose to recouple with her in the latest recoupling.
Speaking about how it feels to be leaving the villa, Charleen said: “I feel sad to be leaving Love Island. I feel like it ended on a bad note. I definitely found friendships over any kind of relationship, but I think that’s just the way it goes. The last thing I did was vent my feelings, which I’m glad I did. I’m glad I got to tell him how I felt, but it’s still bittersweet. My man definitely wasn’t in there.”
Olivia – DUMPED in episode 32

Olivia was dumped from the villa after none of the boys chose to recouple with her.
She said of leaving the show at this point: “It feels good! I just don’t think my person was in there. Me and Finley gave it a go, we had a good crack at that connection. I’m happy to be coming away because he’s definitely not for me.”
Nevaeh – DUMPED in episode 32
Nevaeh. ITV
Nevaeh had a connection with Simba while in Casa Amor, but he decided to recouple with Mara, meaning Nevaeh was then dumped from the villa.
She said: “It’s bittersweet for sure. I had an amazing experience and I really enjoyed every part of it. I made some amazing friends. Obviously, being a Casa girl can be difficult because you don’t get much time. If I had more time, I think I could’ve made better connections with people. Overall I was true to myself and I was genuine.”
Carlos – DUMPED in episode 32

Despite striking up a connection with Priya, Carlos was dumped after she chose to recouple with Jordon.
He said: “It feels tough because you want to go in there, find a connection and have an amazing experience. I did, don’t get me wrong, but it’s hard because I thought I had a good connection with Priya, and that we were getting on really well. And from the chats I was having with the boys and the girls, they were reassuring me all the time that I was her number one and she felt the most comfortable with me.
“So I was very confident that I was going to get picked. It’s definitely a bitter pill to swallow because I didn’t expect it. It’s still quite a shock, to be honest.”
Will – DUMPED in episode 32

Will didn’t appear to have a connection with any of the girls and was therefore dumped from the villa.
He said: “I would’ve loved to have stayed but I did exactly what I wanted to do in terms of staying true to myself, going after what I wanted and not going with some sort of game plan. I don’t think I could’ve faked it even if I tried to be honest. I rolled the dice and went with my gut and sometimes you come up unlucky and it doesn’t work out. I had a great time doing it.”
Aaron – DUMPED in episode 32

Despite getting to know Angelista, she decided to stick with Simba, meaning Aaron was then dumped from the villa.
He said: “It doesn’t feel that bad because I did what I could. I feel like there was no one in there that was really feeling me. I don’t think the girls there were really attracted to me, but it is what it is. You find someone or you don’t. That’s not a tragedy. It’s just how it goes.”
Tina – DUMPED in episode 25

Lorenzo and Ellie made the difficult decision to dump Tina, after she found herself in the bottom three set of Islanders who received the fewest votes for favourite girl.
Of how it felt to be leaving the villa, Tina said: “A bit sad because I haven’t found the love of my life, but I enjoyed the experience, so I don’t actually care. I’ve just had a really good time. I’m going to miss it. It’s an experience that I’ve never had before, so I’m really happy I did it!”
Tommy – DUMPED in episode 25

Ellie and Lorenzo decided to dump Tommy after he received the fewest votes from the public in the favourite boy vote.
He said of his exit: “I think my time was up! I explored every option in there and left no stone unturned. Based on the current girls in there, there wasn’t really a connection there for me. It’s sad to be leaving, I made some great connections, especially with the boys, some friends for life! It’s mixed emotions, the journey was great but ultimately it’s a place to find love so if there’s nothing in there in a romantic aspect you’re better off being outside. I have no regrets.”
Halle – DUMPED in episode 21

After the Islanders decided to save Tommy and Mica, Halle was dumped from the island.
Asked how it felt to be leaving the villa, Halle said: “It feels really sad because I don’t think I deserved to leave, especially not in the way that I did, because the only reason I was up there in the first place was due to my partner, not me. It’s devastating, but I also don’t want to be somewhere I’m not wanted, and clearly, no one was fighting for me.
“I’d rather leave with my head held high, knowing everything I did was true to myself, than stay and have everyone be devastated that someone they didn’t want to leave had gone. Everyone in there needs to remember that it’s Love Island, not Friend Island. I would stick up for my friends, too. I get it, but it’s just annoying.”
Chidi – DUMPED in episode 21

The Islanders opted to save Tommy and Mica, which meant that Chidi was dumped from the villa alongside Halle.
He said of his exit: “It feels bittersweet, but I’m at peace with it.”
Sam – DUMPED in episode 18
Samuel. ITV
After being left single after bombshell Chidi chose to couple up with Mica, Sam was dumped from the villa.
“It’s been amazing getting to know everyone in here, can’t wait to see you all,” Sam said as he left the villa.
Namibia – DUMPED in episode 18
Namibia. ITV
Due to being left single after bombshell Tina chose to couple up with Aidan, Namibia was dumped from the villa.
“It’s been amazing, I love you all,” Namibia said as she left the villa.
Ope – DUMPED in episode 12
Ope. ITV
As Ope and Victoria were voted the the couple to have the weakest connection, they were dumped from the villa.
“It feels really alien to leave Love Island,” he said. “I feel like I’ve been there for such a long time. One day there is a week. You grow such big connections with people so I’m really sad to have left.”
Victoria – DUMPED in episode 12

After she and Ope were ranked to have the weakest connection, a bombshell text arrived dumping them both.
Victoria had begun getting to know Sam earlier in the day, but their relationship was cut short.
Victoria said it felt “really sad” to be leaving the villa, adding: “I wish I was there longer, especially when I started to make a connection.”
Robyn – DUMPED in episode 10
Robyn Langton. ITV
After new bombshells Simba and Tommy chose to couple up with Ellie and Angelista, Robyn found herself vulnerable and therefore dumped from the island.
“It’s bittersweet,” Robyn said as she reflected on her exit. “I’ve made friends for life, but I’m genuinely happy. It was definitely my time.
“I doubt someone was going to come in for me and there was no one in there at the minute, so I don’t think it would have been fair for other people to leave. I had a ball, but I was ready to go home.”
George – LEFT in episode 6
George Knight. ITV
George Knight was the first Islander to leave Love Island, though he decided to leave due to private reasons.
A Love Island spokesperson confirmed: “For private reasons, George has left the Love Island villa.”
Since leaving the villa, George shared a brief statement on social media, writing: “Family comes first, always. Leaving the @loveisland villa was a decision made in order to be with my family. Out of respect for them, I’d prefer not to go into any further detail.”
On 7 June, Lorenzo delivered the news: “George has left the villa for private reasons and won’t be coming back.”
George’s exit wasn’t shown on TV aside from this.
