Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark delivered a performance the WNBA had never seen before.
In Indiana’s 110-107 victory over the Seattle Storm, Clark erupted for 45 points in just 29.5 minutes.
She shot 5-of-8 from two-point range, 6-of-10 from beyond the arc, and 17-of-19 from the free-throw line while also recording 10 assists, four steals, and two rebounds.
With the performance, Clark became the first player in WNBA history to record at least 40 points and 10 assists in a single game.
Clark sets new Fever scoring record
Clark’s 45 points also established a new single-game scoring record for the Fever.
The previous record belonged to Kelsey Mitchell, who scored 38 points on two separate occasions.
Clark’s previous career high came in September 2024, when she scored 35 points against the Dallas Wings. She shot 4-of-8 from two-point range, 6-of-14 from three, and a perfect 9-of-9 from the free-throw line in that game.
This season Clark is averaging 19.7 points, 7.7 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game.
