Southbound lanes of DVP at Richmond St. closed due to car flip

Police are investigating following a collision in downtown Toronto.

At 1:27 p.m., police responded to reports of a single vehicle collision on the southbound ramp of the Don Valley Parkway to the westbound lane of the Gardiner Expressway.

Police say a vehicle had flipped over, and the injuries of the victim are unknown.

Currently, the southbound lanes of the DVP are closed at Richmond Street East. Police say all vehicles are being diverted off the highway.

They encourage commuters to use alternative routes and expect delays in the area.
