Caitlin Clark has already rewritten countless pages of the WNBA record book during the first three seasons of her professional career. On Friday night in Indianapolis, she added another chapter.
Playing before a roaring crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Clark delivered one of the greatest individual performances in league history, exploding for 45 points and 10 assists to lead the Indiana Fever to a thrilling 110-107 victory over the Seattle Storm.
The stat line was unprecedented.
Never before had a WNBA player recorded at least 40 points and 10 assists in the same game.
As if that weren’t enough, Clark also set a new Indiana Fever single-game scoring record while continuing to cement her status as one of the most transformative stars women’s basketball has ever seen.
