We continue to ask for the public’s help in locating Parker, 11, and are providing an update on the extensive search and investigative efforts underway to find him.

Today, search efforts are also being supported by members of the RCMP, who have joined Calgary Police Service search teams in the ongoing effort to locate Parker. We are grateful for their continued assistance and partnership.

As the investigation progresses, search efforts are becoming increasingly focused on areas connected to Parker’s last known movements and reported sightings. Officers are conducting targeted searches, reviewing video evidence and canvassing communities while identifying and following up on new investigative leads. We continue to track down information received through our non-emergency line, social media, community reports and other public channels as part of an ongoing effort to identify any information that could assist in locating Parker.

Investigators are also using information provided by Parker’s family about his interests and behaviours to help guide search efforts. As part of those efforts, officers have been playing some of Parker’s favourite Disney songs from patrol vehicles and other search resources in areas where search operations are taking place.

Since he was reported missing, the Calgary Police Service has dedicated significant resources to locating Parker. More than 300 CPS members have assisted in the search effort, and officers have conducted door-to-door inquiries in surrounding communities and continue to canvas the area. Officers have reviewed, or are currently reviewing, approximately 50 hours of CCTV, residential security camera and dashcam footage.  Approximately 90 tips have been received and assessed by investigators.

Today, approximately 120 trained search volunteers coordinated through Search and Rescue Alberta are continuing to assist with search operations.

Members of the public may continue to see a significant police and search presence in these communities, including our Air Support Unit, Mounted Patrol Team, Mountain Bike Unit, Canine Unit, patrol officers, investigators and trained search volunteers.

We want to stress that police and trained search teams are actively conducting coordinated search operations based on investigative information and search-management principles.

Given the heat and the inherent risks associated with searching, there is a significant possibility that large groups of well-intentioned volunteers without search-and-rescue training may require assistance themselves. Any situation requiring police, EMS or search personnel to respond to volunteer safety concerns would divert critical resources away from the ongoing effort to locate Parker.

We respectfully ask that if Calgarians do choose to search, do not interrupt or interfere with police operations, trained search teams or organized search efforts already underway. We also ask that community-led search activities avoid areas where official searches are taking place and do not create situations that require police or search personnel to redirect resources from ongoing operations. Remain mindful of the heat, ongoing operations, not enter private property without permission, and report any information or sightings to police immediately. Additionally, there is limited parking available in the area. We ask community members not to park near active search operations and to ensure access routes remain clear for police, emergency vehicles and search teams.

Parker was last seen shirtless, wearing dark shorts and black noise-cancelling headphones. He is described as 4’11” tall, weighing approximately 90 pounds, with brown hair, a shaved head and brown eyes.

He was last seen at his day home in the 0 to 100 block of Connaught Drive N.W. sometime between 11:08 and 11:41 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2026. Articles of clothing believed to belong to Parker were found around noon in the 0 to 100 block of Northmount Drive N.W. He was captured on CCTV footage on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 12:52 p.m. in the 5000 to 6000 block of Travis Crescent N.E.

Parker is neurodivergent and non-verbal and may become even more scared if confronted by strangers. If Parker is located, members of the public are asked not to approach him. Instead, keep him in sight and call 911 immediately.
