It will be tough to swallow selling a year removed from Game 7 of the World Series, but Kevin Gausman would be one of the top rental arms on the market if they decide to cash in their chips.

The Reds have an NL-worst 25-42 record since the beginning of May, and despite sitting just six games back in the wild-card standings, they have no business being anything but sellers at the deadline. Brady Singer, Eugenio Suárez, Tyler Stephenson, Nathaniel Lowe, Pierce Johnson, Brock Burke and Caleb Ferguson are among the rental candidates they will look to unload.
