A beloved Michelin-recognized Toronto restaurant is opening a new location west of the city in Mississauga this fall.
PAI Northern Thai Kitchen, founded by Chef Nuit Regular and Jeff Regular, officially announced their expansion, set to open at Square One Shopping Centre. The team said its opening is a response to requests from guests who wanted “to experience PAI closer to home.”
The new location will be in Unit FM07 within Square One’s Food District, and the restaurant will have 88 indoor seats and a 30-seat semi-enclosed patio. This is also a homecoming location for Chef Nuit, as she and Jeff first lived in Mississauga before opening their restaurants and after immigrating to Canada.
“Mississauga holds a special place in my heart because it’s where my life in Canada began. Bringing PAI here feels like coming home, and we’re excited to welcome both new and longtime guests to experience the flavours, traditions, and warm hospitality of Northern Thailand,” said Chef Nuit Regular, executive chef and co-founder of PAI.

What’s on the menu at PAI in Mississauga?
According to the team, the Mississauga location will feature “PAI’s signature menu, including guest favourites such as Pad Thai, Khao Soi, Grabong, and other authentic Northern Thai dishes, alongside several new menu items.” Those will be announced closer to opening.
No official opening date has been announced yet, but the team says more details will be shared soon.
PAI currently has locations in Toronto at 18 Duncan St., 2335 Yonge St. and 1108 King St, W., at Kitchen Hub. PAI’s sister restaurants include Thai Tavern at 221 Richmond St. W., Kiin at 326 Adelaide St. W., Chaiyo by PAI on the fourth floor of 81 Bay St and Makilala at 105 Church St.
