7 ways to get active in White Rock and South Surrey

It’s summertime and there’s plenty of ways to get active in White Rock and South Surrey. Here’s just a few:

Pickleball: With pickleball courts located at Centennial Park in White Rock, at South Surrey Athletic Park, and at Crescent Park in South Surrey, there’s plenty of opportunities to get involved.

Lawn bowling: Roll a bowl at the White Rock Lawn Bowling Club and the Mann Park Lawn Bowling Club, also located in White Rock.

Golf: From championship courses to family-oriented Par 3’s, there are several golf courses and driving ranges in South Surrey and White Rock to help hone your game throughout the year.

Kayak/paddleboard: Enjoy scenic Semiahmoo Bay and all local waterways in a kayak or on a paddleboard.

Bayside Rugby: Based out of South Surrey Athletic Park, Bayside Sharks RFC offers rugby action all year ’round, for players of all ages.

Beach volleyball: Grab a volleyball and head to Crescent Beach’s beach volleyball court, where many beach-goers enjoy participating in spontaneous ocean-side games.

Hillside walking: White Rock offers a collection of eight walkways that connect the waterfront to uptown. In total, the walkways span 1.5 kilometres and offer beautiful views.
