A 65-year-man who was one of two cyclists who collided last week with a car has died from his injuries, Montreal police said on Thursday.

The incident occurred at about 5:10 p.m. on July 16 at the corner of Ste- Catherine and Frontenac Sts.

A second cyclist, 65, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

The incident, the 10th fatal collision this year on the island of Montreal, remains under investigation.
