CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A new specialty sushi roll is coming to The Cowfish and eeZ, and it is designed to make a difference both on and off the plate. Beginning August 28 and continuing throughout the Panthers season, guests can order the Young 9 Roll, with proceeds supporting mental health programs for children in need.

The Cowfish and eeZ are partnering with the Young 9 Foundation, founded by Panthers quarterback Bryce Young, to launch the charitable menu item. For every Young 9 Roll sold, $5 will be donated directly to the foundation to help fund youth mental health initiatives.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Young 9 Foundation on a menu item that brings people together while supporting an important cause,” said Chef Boeing Koo. “As a locally owned restaurant group, working with a great local partner like Bryce Young’s foundation makes this project especially meaningful.”

The Young 9 Roll will be available at The Cowfish locations in SouthPark and Raleigh’s North Hills, as well as eeZ Fusion & Sushi at Birkdale Village.

Chef Rifali Almunir said the collaboration is about using food to create community impact.

“We wanted to create something guests can enjoy while knowing they are helping kids who need support,” Almunir said. Chef Koo added “mental health is such an important issue, and every roll sold contributes directly to that mission.”

The locally owned restaurant group hopes the partnership will raise awareness and encourage fans to support the cause throughout football season.

Whether you’re a Panthers fan, a sushi lover, or simply looking to support a worthy cause, the Young 9 Roll offers a flavorful way to give back. Starting August 28, diners can enjoy the special roll while helping provide critical mental health resources for children through the Young 9 Foundation. For more information visit eeZ – Fusion Sushi.
