We are seeking candidates in Montreal, Quebec City, and our local service expansion areas: Vaudreuil-Soulanges, Laurentians and Lanaudière, Châteauguay/Montérégie, Sept-Îles/North and Lower North Shore.

CBC ambassadors represent CBC on-site at various community events, sponsorships and partnerships, and live broadcasts of CBC radio and television shows.

Ambassadors work directly with audiences in various capacities, always aiming to connect Canadians with their public broadcaster. Ambassadors are expected to maintain the integrity of the CBC brand in all interactions.

What will you do?

Represent the Brand: Serve as an enthusiastic ambassador for CBC, welcoming the public and creating a fun, inclusive, and high-energy atmosphere at community events.Drive Fan Engagement: Interact with event-goers, invite them to participate in our activation, encourage photo opportunities, and hand out promotional swag.Support the Team: Assist the Communications and Marketing team with the straightforward setup and teardown of booth materials before and after the event.

We are looking for candidates with the following:

Excellent interpersonal skills and an outgoing personality; comfortable engaging with people out in the community.Reliable team player who takes initiative to find solutions with a positive attitude.Ability to memorize and deliver key messages.Flexible schedule, with the ability to pick up casual shift work that may take place over evenings, weekends and holidays.Knowledge of CBC local radio, television and digital programs and priorities is considered an asset.Knowledge of additional languages other than English is considered an asset.
