Layne Riggs won his third straight NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole Friday at Indianapolis Park and will have his Front Row Motorsports teammate, Chandler Smith, beside him when the green flag waves on Friday night. 

Riggs, the defending winner at IRP, turned a lap of 22.805 seconds/108.292 miles per hour around the 0.686-mile short track, beating Smith for the pole by only 

The pole is the seventh of Riggs’ Truck Series career, his third of 2026 and his first at IRP.

Notable Truck Series IRP qualifying results

Smith, Nick Sanchez, Christian Eckes and Stewart Friesen rounded out the top five, with Kaden Honeycutt, Connor Mosack, Grant Enfinger, Ty Majeski and Andres Perez completing the top 10.

Other notable qualifying efforts include Brenden Queen in 12th, Tyler Ankrum in 13th, Gio Ruggiero in 16th, Daniel Hemric in 18th and Ben Rhodes in 22nd. Gavan Boschele qualified 19th for his Truck Series debut with TRICON Garage. 

Justin Carroll and Jonathan Shafer did not qualify for the race. 

The TSport 200 will go green shortly after 8 p.m. ET, with coverage on FS1, NRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
